HOW TO REMOVE UNWANTED GOOGLE BUSINESS PHOTOS

There are a few reasons you may want to remove photos that were posted by a user on your Google Business Profile. This can include:

  • The user IS NOT your customer
  • or, the user is trying to hurt your company’s image

Here are the steps in “flagging” unwanted photos to potentially have Google remove them.

1) Go to your Google Business Profile

2) Click On “Photos”

You will find the “Photos” link in the left sidebar.

3) Click on “By Customer”

Click on the “By Customer” link to view all of the photos submitted by users to your Google Business Profile.

4) View Image

Click on the image(s) that you want to flag as “inappropriate” to try and get Google to remove.

Then click on the “FLAG” icon in top right corner

5) Report Image

Select the appropriate option – I suggest selecting “Other” and typing out as detailed of a message of why as possible.

Add your email address.

Submit the form.

6) Receive Response From Google

You will be taken to a confirmation page confirming your submission – Now, it is up to Google to make the decision on whether to remove the photo or not!

You are able to repeat these steps for all image(s) you are wanting to remove. If you have a valid case for removal, Google will remove the image for your Google Business Profile.
